DON'T FORGET ...

  1. If you have a valid license, bring a "copy" of your current signed license.

  2. Bring any CSCE's you may have earned.

  3. Bring a photo ID so we can verify who you are.

  4. Bring the NCVEC Form 605, with only Section 1 completed.

  5. The cost for taking the test is $15.00. If you bring exact change it would be a great help.

The required "NCVEC QUICK-FORM 605" can be found here

If you do not have one ... You may want to obtain an FRN (FCC Federal Registration Number) so you do not need to use your Social Security Number on your application.

The FRN is a unique entity identifier for everyone doing business with the Commission.

The FRN can be obtained electronically through the FCC webpage at http://wireless.fcc.gov/uls (Select FCC Registration Number (FRN) Commission Registration System (CORES)) or by manually submitting FCC Form 160. FCC Form 160 is available for downloading from http://www.fcc.gov/formpage.html, by calling the FCC's Forms Distribution Center at (800) 418-3676, or the FCC’s Fax Information System by dialing (202) 418-0177.
