The DuPage Amateur Radio Club will offer courses for anyone interested in obtaining a Technician Class License, a General Class License and/or Extra Class License.

       
 
       
 

Amateur Radio Technician Class

 

Want to talk to far off places, provide communication in an emergency, or just learn more about radio communication?  Now here is your chance!  The DuPage Amateur Radio Club will be offering a 10-week course for entry level in the basics of radio communications.  At the end of the 10 weeks, a test will be given to obtain a Technician Amateur Radio Operators License.

       
 

Course Begins:

January 14th, 2012

 

Dates and Time:

January 14th - March 17th    (10 consecutive Saturdays)

9:00 AM - 11:45 AM

 

Location:

Woodridge Park District

 

Address:

2600 Center Drive, Woodridge, IL

 

Registration Fee:

$4.00 for Woodridge Residents

$6.00 for non-Residents

 

Course Materials:

The ARRL Technician Class License Manual

 

Manual Price:

$30.00 through the Club
    (Payable on or before the 1st day of the course

$29.95 MSRP + Shipping via the ARRL

 

Class Size:
